(October 8, 2002--MIPCOM--Cannes, France) Federal Hill Communications, a leading provider of digital entertainment for VOD platforms worldwide has just signed an agreement with LuxSAT International, a European supplier of multimedia services on demand. The deal was completed at MIPCOM and it follows on the heels of the recent announcement between Federal Hill and LuxSAT Middle East (LME) whereby Federal Hill will negotiate studio content for LuxSAT Middle East’s (LME) planned residential VOD launch in the region. As part of the new agreement, Federal Hill will oversee the negotiation of VOD rights to programming from major Hollywood studios and will assist LuxSAT International in developing a strategic VOD content solution by managing programming and rights issues, as well as other ancillary services. Bethany Gorfine, President of Federal Hill Communications and Thierry Maman, CEO and Managing Director of LuxSAT International, jointly announced the venture.

Whereas traditional television viewing is dictated by the broadcasting medium, LuxSAT International has developed an innovative system offering subscribers more flexibility over the content they watch.
