PRESS RELEASE CONCURRENT AND FEDERAL HILL FORM PARTNERSHIP FOR VOD CONTENT DELIVERY Companies Form Alliance for Strategic Planning, Licensing, Marketing, Atlanta, Georgia, June 7, 2001 - Concurrent Computer Corporation (NASDAQ:CCUR), the leader in North American Video-On-Demand (VOD) deployments, today announced a strategic partnership with Federal Hill Communications, a recognized industry leader in the licensing and marketing of digital content for Video-On-Demand (VOD) delivery worldwide, to work together to bring VOD to the Canadian market. Federal Hill is Concurrent's first content partner for Canada. The partnership announcement follows Concurrent's recent selection of TVC Canada, Canada's largest distributor/integrator of broadband products and related services, as its exclusive Canadian agent and Concurrent's VOD deployment announcement with a leading Canadian operator. Concurrent and Federal Hill have worked together successfully in the past to address the content needs of international clients and will now focus their dynamic synergy in the Canadian market. Federal Hill, globally acknowledged as "the Digital Link to Hollywood," has agreed to negotiate and license Hollywood movies (feature film productions) and ancillary entertainment content on behalf of Concurrent's clients. Federal Hill specializes solely in the procurement of digital content, which includes feature films, documentaries, biographies, lifestyles, animation, sports, series, how-tos, and multi-lingual programming. Federal Hill distinguishes itself by tailoring program offerings for VOD providers based on the specific needs, geographic location, demographics and cultural nuances of the client's targeted viewership. Jack Bryant, president and CEO of Concurrent, said, "We are pleased to continue developing our winning relationship with Federal Hill. Their experience in licensing and marketing Video-On-Demand content combined with Concurrent's leading VOD solution contributes to this successful partnership and further opens VOD opportunities in the Canadian market." Bethany Gorfine, president of Federal Hill, added, "The Canadian marketplace has its own unique set of requirements. The various Canadian territories require French programming as well as English-speaking content." Gorfine continued, "Additionally, the Canadian Regulatory Commission sets forth programming requirements as to how much content may be offered that is produced outside of the Canadian marketplace. At Federal Hill, we are sensitive to these issues by licensing programming that takes into consideration government mandates as well as viewer needs."
