April 27, 2005 –-Los Angeles, CA and Montreal, Quebec – Federal Hill Communications, a global provider of digital content solutions and new media distribution has aligned itself with Global Vision, Canada’s leading independent post-production facility, to take advantage of distribution opportunities within Canada. Global Vision has launched VOD Canada™ / Wired-Vision™, an innovative Internet platform developed to facilitate the digital delivery of programming between distributors and broadcasters. Federal Hill will utilize the VOD Canada™ / Wired-Vision™ service as an ancillary sales and marketing tool to promote their content catalog to broadcasters and other emerging programming platforms.

The VOD Canada™ / Wired-Vision™ service has attributes that will benefit both program distributors and broadcasters. The system enables distributors to input metadata and window allocations on their content which is managed by Global Vision’s VOD Canada™ Content Database that oversees metadata, available assets, access control and promos. Storage of media assets is maintained by Global Vision’s Virtual Vault™. Broadcasters can search and order digital assets from the Content Database and delivery authorization will be sent to distributors. Once delivery has been approved, Global Vision will handle the encoding, digital delivery of content to broadcasters and order tracking for both parties.
