FEDERAL HILL COMMUNICATIONS AND CANADA’S COGECO CABLE
STRIKE DEAL FOR VIDEO ON DEMAND CONTENT

January 26, 2002 – Los Angeles, CA -- Federal Hill Communications, a recognized industry leader in licensing and marketing of digital content has completed an agreement with Cogeco Cable, one of Canada’s premiere cable television and telecommunication service providers, to closely assist in garnering content for their Video On Demand (VOD) Service. Cogeco's VOD offer is presently accessible to a select number of its customers with the company planning an extensive rollout Summer 2002 in Ontario and Quebec, Canada. Federal Hill will work closely with Cogeco in solidifying their movie output arrangements with the major Hollywood studios.

In addition, Cogeco has signed a separate agreement with Federal Hill Communications to become the first client of Federal Hill’s new Video on Demand Division, which was announced on November 27, 2001. Cogeco has purchased the Federal Hill "Starter Pak" to complement its movie offerings. Cogeco will be offering in "true" VOD, a variety of programs including documentaries (science, history, nature, animal/adventure plus arts and culture) as well as biographies, lifestyle, telefilms, miniseries and children’s programming. The dual agreement announcement was made jointly by Bethany Gorfine, President of Federal Hill Communications and Jean Pierre Caveen, Director, Affiliate Relations of Cogeco Cable.

"Our mandate from Cogeco is to effectively 'get content.' Whether it’s first run movies, library titles or non-movie content, it is our job to secure and supply the best VOD programming," commented Ms. Gorfine. "Because of our strong relationships with the studios, and selecting from our own library of titles, we’re confident that Cogeco will have a highly marketable, robust VOD service as they roll out the service later this year."

"Federal Hill is well respected and connected in the major film studio arena. The company is an ideal strategic partner for Cogeco as we forge our own direct relationships with the major Hollywood studios and independents. They have a proven track record in securing digital content as well as sound experience and a full understanding of VOD and our marketplace. We’ll be working closely with Federal Hill as we build, shape and brand our new VOD service," said Cogeco Cable’s, Mr. Caveen.

Federal Hill Communications is considered a pioneer in the international VOD industry and is highly regarded by the studios as an "advisor and facilitator" to companies seeking direct relationships with the studios. "We have asked them to not only identify key product but to also assist us with strategic programming decisions at this most critical time in launching our VOD service," added Mr. Caveen.
